Emily LaBonty (2nd Year Member)

Emily is seventeen and has been dancing for seven years. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary. There are five people in her family, including two older brothers. The reason Emily wanted to try out for West Jordan's Dance Company is because she saw their winter showcase her sophomore year and thought the dances looked fun. At that moment, Emily decided that she wanted to be a part of it. She loves dancing because its simultaneously challenging and comforting, and she's never found that in anything else. If she could go anywhere in the world, Emily would go to Berlin during fashion week. And, if she had 1 million dollars, Emily would buy 9,000 American Girl dolls and a lifetime subscription to duo lingo plus.

Ellie Harmon (1st Year Member)

Ellie is sixteen years old and has been dancing for fourteen years. Her favorite styles of dance are ballet and contemporary. There are seven people in her family, including three older siblings and one brother-in-law; Ellie is the youngest. Ellie wanted to try out for dance company to have a purpose in high school besides school work, and also to meet new people. Ellie is looking forward to making fifteen best friends this year on dance company. Ellie loves to dance because it's a way to express herself and get out of her comfort zone. One of Ellie’s hidden talents is her clumsiness. If she could go anywhere in the world, Ellie would travel to London.

McKenna Jewkes (1st Year Member)

McKenna is seventeen and has been dancing for 2-3 years. Her favorite styles of dance include jazz and hip hop. There are nine people in her family; she has six siblings. McKenna wanted to audition for West Jordan's Dance Company to learn more styles of dance and to meet more people who love dance too. This year she is looking forward to building new relationships and making new friends. Mckenna's hidden talents include her extremely flexible joints and double jointed arms and legs. If she could go anywhere in the world, Mckenna would go to Hawaii. . In her free time Mckenna likes to hang out with friends and play with her dogs.

Noma Kuma (2nd Year Member)

Noma has been dancing for thirteen years. Her favorite part about dancing is the experience, meeting new people, trying new tricks, and enjoying the moment. Her biggest achievement is getting scholarships and improving her flexibility. Noma’s goal for this year is to improve her turns. She decided to try out for the team because she thought it would be a good experience for her and she wanted to learn new things in a fun environment. She’s most excited for the performances and memories. One fun fact about Noma is that she models professionally and has been involved in NuTribe Junior Dance Crew for several years.

Samantha Overdiek (2nd Year Member)

Samantha is sixteen years old and has been dancing for thirteen years. Her favorite styles of dance are lyrical and contemporary. There are five people in her family; Sammy is the oldest and has one younger sister and one younger brother. Sammy wanted to try out for West Jordan's Dance Company, because her mom was on the team when she was in high school and she loved it! Sammy's excited to be a returning member of the team with a better idea of what's going on. She's looking forward to being able to work harder, becoming a better dancer, and becoming a better teammate.Sammy also loves to perform, which she gets to do a lot with dance company. Sammy's hidden talent is singing. If she could go anywhere in the world she would go to Athens, because she loves Greek mythology.

Rylee Bagley (1st Year Member)

Rylee is fifteen years old and has been dancing for four years. Her favorite styles of dance are lyrical and contemporary. Rylee has seven people in her family, including her mom and step dad, step mom and dad, and two sisters. Rylee wanted to audition for West Jordan's Dance Company, because she loved watching their performances and saw how much fun they were having on stage. This year, she is looking forward to dancing with the girls and performing. If she could go anywhere in the world, Rylee would go to England. If she had 1 million dollars she would spend it on traveling, dance equipment, and animal charities.

Logan is sixteen years old and has been dancing for seven years. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary. There are six people in her family; she is the youngest of four kids. The reason she wanted to try out for West Jordan's Dance Company is so she could be a part of something at school and because she loves to dance. This year she is looking forward to meeting new people and challenging herself. If Logan could go anywhere in the world, she would travel through Europe. If she had 1 million dollars, Logan would save some and give the rest to charity.

Brylie is fifteen years old and has been dancing for thirteen years. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary. There are five people in her family, including one younger sister and one little brother. The reason she wanted to try out for West Jordan's Dance Company was to make new friends and meet more people. She is very excited for all the memories she'll be able to make on Dance Company and is excited to be able to find self expression through movement. One of Brylie’s hidden talents is singing. If she could go anywhere in the world she would go to the Bahamas. If she had 1 million dollars, Brylie would buy a baby goat.

Kierra is fifteen years old and has been dancing for three years. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary. Kierra wanted to try out for West Jordan's Dance Company, because she loves to dance, she wanted to be involved in high school, and she missed having a team she could count on. Kierra loves to dance because it gives her the ability to express things she can't put into words. If she could go anywhere in the world, Kierra would go to the future. In her free time, Kierra likes to write and be involved in musical theater.
